Our still-soft-in-the-middle Scotch eggs have become something of a culinary cult with many imitators but few equals. We now offer five varieties including a subtly spicy chorizo version.

We recommend you warm them in a preheated oven to bring out the full flavours. Don’t worry, if you follow our instructions the yolk will stay seductively runny.

D2132: Salmon (FISH), dill, Free range EGGS, cream (MILK), shallots, Panko Breadcrumbs [WHEAT flour, salt, yeast, enzyme, soy oil (SOYA)], MILK, flour (WHEAT), seasoning.

F3515: Free-range chicken EGG, old spot sausage meat, otterburn black pudding [Bakc fat, WHEAT flour, SOYA, dried blood (PORCINE), pearl BARLEY, shallots, dried EGG, pork gelatine, yeast extract, ground spices, honey, salt.], Panko Breadcrumbs [WHEAT flour, salt, yeast, enzyme, soy oil (SOYA)], shallots, flour (WHEAT), sage, mace, salt, pepper.
