Description
Rick Stein rated this fabulously succulent ham so highly by including it in his Food Heroes series, that he did much to raise the profile of Britain’s artisan producers.
This ham consistently gets rave reviews from our customers and has been one of our bestselling products for the last 10 years. It is made to a recipe that has been passed down through the generations. Free range legs from traditional breed pigs reared outdoors on a local farm – gilts only – are steamed first and then baked with a sweet marmalade glaze. They contain no added water, no artificial colouring and only the finest legs of ham are used. Hams appearance may vary.
Serve with our delicious Spiced Apricot Compote.
Once opened, keep covered with greaseproof paper to prevent drying out.
