Terms & Conditions

Our Contract

Your contract with Forman & Field begins once your order has been placed and processed. We will confirm receipt of your order by sending you an “Order Confirmation Email” or by otherwise confirming your order back to you. The contract is complete when the goods are received.

Your Account

You can create an account with us by purchasing through our website, over the phone or through a postal order form. Please ensure that the details you provide are correct, complete and up-to-date, and inform us immediately of any changes to those details.

Ordering & Dispatch

As our products are sourced from small, speciality producers and (in most cases) are made-to-order especially for you, we may require some notice to dispatch goods. We do not hold stock, so even items for collection must be ordered in advance.

We deliver every day from Tuesday to Friday, excluding bank holidays; you can check the earliest available delivery date as you add items to your basket.

If you need items to keep until a particular date, please check the storage information online for each product to ensure that it is suitable. If in doubt, please call us on 0203 601 5464 to check.


We cannot guarantee that once an order has been placed and paid for, any amendments can be made. If you do wish to amend your order you must notify us by phone as soon as possible and, provided the order has not been submitted for preparation, we will endeavour to amend it.


All payments are taken at the time the order is placed. We will not reserve or dispatch goods before payment us received. We accept payment with Visa and Mastercard.

All products quoted on the website and in our catalogues are in GBP and, where appropriate, include Value Added Tax. We reserve the right to amend prices of products displayed on our website without prior notice. The prices on our website are always the most up-to-date correct prices and may differ from our catalogue.

Your card detail will be retained within our payment provider (Opayo) for use of adding items and making refunds.  Please note Forman & Field will not have direct access to these details, and only the last four numbers will be visible to us.  If you wish to have these details removed please contact us via phone or email and we will make contact with Opayo to ensure this happens.

Delivery Charges

  • UK Mainland: £9.95;
  • Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands, Isles of Scilly: £19.95
  • Eire and Channel Islands: Please contact us for a quotation
  • By special arrangement, we can deliver beyond these Isles

Product Descriptions & Specifications

We make every effort to ensure that the images displayed on our website and in our catalogues are a fair representation of our products. The colours you see may vary depending on the resolution of your monitor’s display and therefore we cannot guarantee that the colour depicted on your screen will always accurately reflect the colour of the item delivered.

We reserve the right to vary the dimensions, specifications, descriptions and quantities of products displayed on our website without prior notice. Please check serving sizes on the website carefully.

Allergens & Nutritional Information

All products are produced in nut environments and accordingly may contain nuts. Please check each product’s ingredients for allergens, which have been listed in bold. If any further information is required about our products, such as serving tips or nutritional information, we would be happy to provide it, prior to purchase. We advise customers with allergies to check the manufacturer’s label upon receipt.

Age Restrictions & Alcohol

We only sell alcohol-based items to those aged 18 and over. By placing an order with us it is confirmation that you are of legal age. It is illegal to buy restricted products if you are under age or for someone else who is under age.

Freezing & Shelf Life

Where possible, shelf life is indicated on our website. Certain products are dispatched frozen to ensure that they hold shape during transit, and it is not recommended that these are re-frozen. If you need a product to keep until a particular date, please ask at the time of ordering.

Gift Messages

A personal gift message can be included with all orders, which will be attached to the inside lid of the packaging.


As our products are prepared fresh and produced to order, we regret that once an order is placed it is not possible to cancel it and refunds cannot be given. Similarly, once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to stop delivery or cancel it.


In the unlikely event that your package is damaged during transit, please accept the delivery and contact us as soon as possible. Accepting a damaged delivery will not affect your rights. Refusing delivery without first consulting us will only result in the goods being disposed of by the courier. If possible, please take photographs to show evidence of the damage.


All deliveries will be left in a safe place if you are out; this is fresh food so there will be no re-delivery. You will receive a text/email notification regarding your delivery from our courier. If you have delivery instructions for the courier, please advise us when placing your order. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can receive the parcel on your delivery date or that it can be left safe. If buying a gift, it is your responsibility to notify the recipient of the parcel’s arrival. We cannot accept responsibility for addresses or dates provided incorrectly. A telephone number, preferably mobile, must be provided with the order and if you have provided an email address then you should also receive a tracking email from our courier company which you can use to check you delivery’s progress.

Please note that we may not be able to track the exact location of your parcel, nor estimate a delivery time. We will do our best, however, to find out this information for you.

Some London deliveries will be made with our drivers in our own fleet of refrigerated vans. In these cases, you will not receive any tracking information. If you would like to know when to expect delivery, please call us on the day of delivery and we will endeavour to give you an approximate delivery time. Please note, during busier times this is not always possible.

Delivery times may vary. We will not be held responsible for any guarantees or representations made to delivery times or dates, or any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Whilst every effort will be made to meet customers’ demands, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of an Act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Labour Dispute, Fire, Flood, Drought, Severe Weather or other causes beyond the control of Forman & Field.

Limitation of Liability

We cannot accept liability for any consequential loss, damage or expense caused by a failure in our service of any sort. This includes the cost of purchases made to replace an order that fails to arrive for any reason.

Supplier Capacity

Our suppliers are small-scale, independent producers; therefore all products are subject to availability. In the event of a product being unavailable we will contact you to arrange an alternative, issue a refund or a credit your account for a future order

Complaints Procedure

It is your responsibility to check your order carefully immediately on receipt of goods. In the unlikely event of goods being unsatisfactory, damaged or incomplete you should accept delivery and contact us within 2 working days. After this period has elapsed we will be unable to consider reimbursements. Please do not return or dispose of any goods without first contacting us.

Corporate Orders

In addition to the payment methods previously mentioned, payment by bank can also be accepted for orders placed over the phone. Please note that these orders will not be confirmed until payment has been received. For orders for delivery to more than ten addresses please contact Customer Services on 0208 5252 352 or via info@formanandfield.com for an address data form.

Use of Images

If we find that another company has used one of our pictures without prior permission, they will be required to remove it and they will receive an invoice for £1000 payable within 7 days or face court action.

Catalogue Accuracy

Every care has been taken to ensure that all prices and descriptions in our catalogue are correct. In the case of error you will be given the opportunity to cancel your order. We apologise if this is the case. Prices are correct at the time of going to print. Forman & Field reserve the right to amend prices without notice. For photographic purposes some props, garnishes and cutlery have been used in the catalogue that are not included with the products.
