    There are five different breeds of Alaskan Wild Salmon and the most prized variety is the King or ‘Chinook’ salmon. This has the highest fat content and most resembles Wild River Tweed salmon in taste and texture.

    Forman’s have been smoking wild Pacific salmon for over seventy years. It was always considered the alternative to River Tweed in the days before salmon farming.

    Our Alaskan King salmon is a great alternative to our River Tweed. We still apply our delicate London Cure, naturally.
