Skye’s Chardonnay is a new addition to our collection this year, and it really is a fabulous one. Similar in style to the acclaimed 2018 vintage but in our eyes a further improvement.
Made exclusively using Burgundy Clones from Middle Strackney and Old Eight Acre Vineyards at Hush Heath Estate, Chardonnay vines valued for producing wines of richness and complexity.
The wine is unoaked to accentuate the citric character of the Chardonnay grape, yet extended lees ageing and battonage softens the acidity and add layers of texture and a hint of creaminess.
