A digestif matured for five years in small oak barrels, evoking all the magic and mystery of the West Country’s proud cider-making and apple-growing traditions. The Somerset Cider Brandy Company, led by Julian Temperley in Kingsbury Episcopi, was granted the first full cider distilling licence in 1989 although Cider Brandy was first recorded in England in 1678. They grow traditional apple varieties in their 73 acres of Somerset countryside making up the largest single orchard in the UK.
Swirled gently in the glass, the Cider Brandy conjures up autumn leaves, ripe fruit and wild flowers. Presented in an attractive gift box.
