Mother’s Ruin gin palace is located in Walthamstow and they have been winning awards for years. Many of the ingredients used in their liqueurs are home grown, or wild foraged from in and around East London. Their Old Tom Gin is distilled in a tiny copper stills, using hand ground botanicals this is a unique full flavoured spirit with wonderful notes of orange, bay, nutmeg and vanilla. Mother’s Ruin Bitter Orange Rum is made of Seville Oranges, sweet oranges and dark rum combine to make a tawny marmalade flavoured liqueur. This beautifully balanced drink has long lasting bittersweet citrus notes with hints of burnt caramel. The Rhubarb Vodka is a delicately flavoured liqueur using traditional rhubarb varieties Stockbridge Arrow and Victoria, grown in London. Fresh uplifting rhubarb notes are warmed and balanced by the spice of fresh ginger root.
