After smoked salmon, H. Forman & Son’s biggest seller is fresh salmon. Why? Because Forman’s are UK’s leading salmon experts with over 100 years of expertise in sourcing and preparing the king of fish. Our salmon is leaner and firmer, hand-filleted and will be with you within 3 days of ‘harvesting’ in the Scottish Western Isles or Shetlands. Supermarket distribution chains simply cannot achieve all this which is why leading chefs would not settle for supermarket salmon and frankly nor should you. You really will taste the difference. Try it poached with our hollandaise sauce, baking in foil with some tarragon jelly or grilled and served with our champagne cream sauce, to which you can add a spoon of keta salmon caviar … every little helps.
