Launched in 2002, Forman & Field is a fine food mail order company specialising in fresh, traditional British produce from small, independent producers. We share our premises in East London with our parent company, H. Forman & Son, a 100 year old family business supplying smoked salmon, caviar and other smoked and fresh fish to the world's leading hotels and finest restaurants.
Fine British food
With the growing discontent at the lack of quality British food widely available, Forman & Field was established to bring you the best in natural, seasonal, British produce. We offer the finest selection of Britain's rich heritage of superb foods; and we will deliver the products that are sadly often hard to find, such as wild Scottish salmon, rare-breed meat, game in season, farmhouse cheeses and the best quality puddings and chocolates, direct to your door. Think of us as an online farmer's market, where you can order the finest produce from the best small-scale British producers, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Our foods come from producers whose philosophy is quality. They use artisan skills, age-old recipes and the finest fresh ingredients. Our producers understand food, understand seasons and understand freshness. They are award-winning British producers who defy fads and fashions but stick to what they do best and have done best for decades. Each of our producers is known to us personally, we have visited their kitchens, farms and production sites and we are proud to represent them.
Fast and convenient
Our food is prepared fresh to order, so it will arrive with you in the best possible condition. That means that we need some notice to prepare some products although many are still available next day if you order by 10am. Whilst our food is prepared slowly, the goods will be delivered quickly and efficiently by overnight courier. You can see the next available delivery date for every product before you confirm your order.
