The Ultimate Truffle Burger
- Three and a half heaped tablespoons of Truffle Hunter Black Truffle Mustard
- Two finely diced cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tbsp flaked sea salt
- 1 tbsp cracked black pepper
- 500g quality minced beef
- 4 quality burger buns
- Handful of mixed salad leaves
- **Optional indulgence tip** – A chunk of truffle cheese!
In a large bowl mix the minced beef, three heaped teaspoons on Black Truffle Mustard, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper
Mix thoroughly and divide into four even sized balls, pat each ball into a flat, round shape and 2cm thick
To cook the burgers, heat a frying pan until it starts to smoke and drizzle the olive oil over both sides of the parries. Cook the burgers in batches for four mins either side, only turning when necessary.
Halve the burger buns and lightly toast under a preheated grill. Place the salad leaves on to the bottom half of the toasted bun, smooth the top half of the bun with the remaining Black Truffle Mustard and place the cooked patty in the bun. Serve and enjoy.
**OPTIONAL INDULGENCE TIP** – Add a small chunk of truffle cheese into the centre of the patty before cooking, the melted cheese makes a naughty but oh-so-excellent addition to an already tasty burger!
