LONDON CURE SMOKED SALMON SET TO GET SPECIAL EU STATUS

Last week was full of congratulations for us at H. Forman & Son, as it was announced on ITV News London on Friday 11th September that we are on the verge of being awarded European protected status for our London Cure Smoked Salmon. Protected name status means that under EU law foods, such as the Cornish Pasty or Melton Mowbray pork pies, can be produced only in those named parts of the world.

When granted, it will be the first London food or drink to be awarded such recognition, and will put us alongside the likes of household names such as Champagne and Parma Ham. Read more...
