Darren Matson, our resident expert (and Guinness World Record Holder) in carving smoked salmon will show and teach you his famous technique that produces such gorgeous smoked salmon slices. Traditionally smoked salmon is carved into long, thin banquet slices which are then layered back on the skin each on top of one another. It is this method that you will soon master!

Step by step Darren will show you how, and then guide you through carving your very own side of London Cure Smoked Salmon. Not only that, but this will be packed up for you so you can take it home to enjoy with family and friends.

You’ll also be given your very own Carving Kit to take home with you. This includes: a rosewood-handle carving knife, a sapele carving board and a pair of tweezers. Show off your new skills and impress at home!

“Carving your own side of smoked salmon is the best way to enjoy it; it’s a skill and a therapy rolled into one, great fun too and the best way to impress friends and family at your next dinner party or simply Sunday morning breakfast.  Anyone can do it
