WOW, what a day at Forman’s Smokehouse

adaWhat a day was had at our Open Day last Saturday.  I can honestly say it was one of the most fun-filled days ever had on Fish Island.  The team at Forman & Field worked tirelessly from early morning (4am) to ensure that everyone had a great day.  The passion of all our artisan producers was evidently clear, and the mutual respect for each other’s products was apparent in the number of suppliers purchasing each other’s products!

From the fresh fish in the Street Market to the Smokehouse Gallery it was access all areas as visitors were free to roam the factory on a Willy Wonkaesque tour.

Jon from Nyetimber told us “Thank you very much for the opportunity to represent our wines at the event. I have to say that we all thought that the calibre of guest was superb and it was without question one of the most fun tasting events we’ve been to.”

Selling out on the day were the Liquid Salted Caramel Sauce on the Artisan du Chocolat stand; the brilliant bangers from Hepburns and the macaroons from L’Orchidee.  You will be pleased to know they are now all back in stock – so order now to discover just why they were so popular.
