Forman & Field Weekend Brunch Suggestions

Take some inspiration from Forman & Field for a delicious and easy weekend brunch. We’ve picked our favourite dishes, which arrive freshly prepared from our kitchens, or alternatively try brunch by the Olympic Park at Formans London Restaurant! 


Breakfast in Bed Hamper

Grade One hand-sliced smoked Scottish salmon
Start your weekend with H. Forman & Son’s ultimate gourmet treat! Serve with scrambled eggs, poached eggs, bagels and cream cheese or simply with a squeeze of lemon.

Smoked Mackerel Pâté
The mackerel we smoke is grade one quality and we always prepare it to order, so it’s guaranteed to be fresh. Spread over thick, crispy slices of toast with caper berries to top it off.

Smoked Haddock
Simply poach the our wonderful smoked haddock in milk for 4-6 minutes and serve with a knob of butter and a poached egg for a well-deserved weekend brunch treat.

H. Forman & Son Smoked Salmon Sausages
Try smoked salmon sausages with your fry up! We make them with a mix of our own smoked and fresh Scottish salmon, blended with cream, seasoning and chives. Then we poach them so they are ready to eat. All you need to do is warm them through in a pan with some butter before serving.

We also stock Hepburn’s of Shenfield delicious bacon. Based in Essex are award-winning family butchers who have been curing their own bacon the same way since 1932.

Breakfast in Bed hamper
There’s no need move a muscle to prepare brunch with our Breakfast in Bed hamper! It’s a real lazy weekend treat, featuring 200g of Forman’s Grade One smoked salmon, Peter’s Yard Crispbreads, pear and lemon conserve and Paddy & Scott’s coffee, as well as a bottle of Chapel Down Brut Reserve.

Try our Saturday Brunch menu at Formans London Restaurant and look out over the Olympic Stadium and the River Lea – what a great way to start the weekend! There’s something for everyone, from our ‘Forman’ eggs – Hot smoked salmon with two poached eggs  and hollandaise to our take on the Full English: grilled dry-cured back bacon & pancetta, London rich sausage, slow-roasted tomatoes & scrambled or poached eggs.
