Dine in style before or after the British Athletics Series Anniversary Games

From Friday, Usain Bolt, Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-Hill and a host of other Olympic superstars will compete at the Olympic Stadium Sainsbury’s British Athletics Series Anniversary Games! It’s the perfect opportunity to visit Forman’s Restaurant, which has been newly renovated and has wonderful riverside views of the stadium.

The three-day event takes place directly across from Forman’s Restaurant, specialising in H. Forman & Son’s world famous London Cure smoked salmon and seasonal British foods and the finest British drinks. It’s just been wonderfully renovated, with an outside terrace and a brand new bar and dining area – salmon themed, naturally.

On Friday, Forman’s will be open for dinner until 11pm, so if you’ve no time before the games, there’s plenty of time after the last event to pop in for a late dinner or drinks.

Treat yourself to a smoked salmon brunch on Saturday from 10am, or squeeze in lunch just before the day starts at 1:45pm – we’re only a 5 minute walk from the stadium! Like Friday, there will be plenty of time after the events as we’re open until 11pm on Saturday too.

Expect a menu that includes delicacies like our London Cure smoked Scottish salmon, classic haddock fishcake with poached egg and melted chive butter, and creamed sautéed wild mushrooms on parmesan and herb bread.

For a break from the excitement of the games, the wonderful Forman’s Smokehouse Gallery and lounge bar is open from midday to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. With a new exhibition just launched, it’s a must-visit – a sentiment certainly shared by top Olympic Athletes Jessica Ennis and Mo Farah, who both visited Forman’s during London’s 2012 Olympics!
