Customer Focus: Chop’d
This week we interviewed Eddie Holmes, one of the legendary founders of the fresh food shop and eatery chain Chop’d! H. Forman & Son have been supplying Chop’d London chains for over ten years. It offers some of the freshest, healthiest and best quality foods on the high street and can be found throughout central London.
1. When did you first start working with H. Forman & Son?
“I first started working with H. Forman & Son when I was head chef at Yo! Sushi, where they supplied us with some of the freshest salmon around!
I had an excellent working relationship with executive chef Lloyd Hardwick and regarded H. Forman & Son as a reliable business that could guarantee quality. So, from day one of starting Chop’d I was keen to work with them again. H. Forman & Son supported Chop’d when we started out and we’re delighted to still be working with them a decade later”
2. What are the benefits of working with H. Forman & Son?
“The best thing about H. Forman & Son is that you can always rely on them to deliver foods on time and that it’ll be of the highest quality. This is essential as our shops rely on fresh ingredients that can be delivered daily in order to fulfil our customers’ expectations!”
3. What is your favourite meal?
“Difficult question! I would probably have to say pizza made by my wife on a Saturday night with some anchovies from H. Forman & Son!”
4. How did you become involved with the food industry?
“I wasn’t enjoying my day job! So I decided to make a career move and started to gain experience in the food sector, working with high-end restaurants in the South West such a Bath’s prestigious The Hole in the Wall.
I loved it so much I eventually started developing my career and went onto to become head chef at Yo!Sushi before taking the plunge into the food business world and co-founding Chop’d. Thanks to businesses such as H. Forman & Son I have been able to develop a wonderful food brand across London.”
