The pies were good but I probably still prefer to have my haggis by the spoonful rather than in a pie. I wasn't quite sure if the sliced potatoes at the bottom of the pie worked all that well. Overall it was OK, slightly disappointed, not that the products were bad, probably because my expectations...

Virtually the same as for the Cranachan, the Stovies were excellent but I subsequently made them just as good. One thing I did was to separate the leaves from the woody Thyme stem, a bit too rustic for me to have to be picking bits of woody stem from my mouth
