Hackney Wicked Art Festival 2010

We’re delighted to be sponsoring the Hackney Wicked Art Festival 2010.

Forman’s Smokehouse Gallery is the largest in the area and will be showing ‘I see myself there, where I am not’, click here for more details. As well as enjoying and, if you’re inclined, buying the art on show it’s also a great chance to come and see the smokery, stock up on our smoked salmon and take in our fabulous view of the 2012 Olympic stadium if you haven’t yet had the chance.

Formans Restaurant will be open throughout the festival serving a special brasserie menu and with live music performances each day. We’ll also be running a Cocktail Canape Bar to give you a taste of Formans Restaurant out amongst the Corner Carnival art and craft stalls on Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6pm.

By no means least from 12 midday to 3.30 pm on Sunday we’ll be holding The Drawing Olympics, a free art workshop for families and children to create their own pictures of the Olympic stadium with the works being judged by a local artist and prizes for the best!

Coming soon – Regent’s Park Honey

Look out for our ‘August Specials’ which we will be previewing online in a week or two. We’re particularly excited about the honey we’ve sourced from a beekeeper in Regent’s Park. Bees in London parks pollinate a wide variety of flowers and strange as it may seem you really can taste all those different aromas in the honey.

Watch this video of Toby the apiarist at work, his is a brilliant story of someone finding fulfillment in producing wholesome, natural food.
