Help us plan our 2009-2010 catalogue
Mid-summer at Forman towers and whilst most people’s minds are on waterside barbecues and lazy picnics we’re turning out attention to Christmas turkey and plum pudding. It’s the time of year when we make our final decisions on which products to add and which to reluctantly drop from our annual catalogue. We’d like your help.
Is there something you have particularly enjoyed this year that you’d hate to see disappear from our shelves? A ham you can’t live without or a pudding that made your day?
Perhaps you’ve seen a speciality elsewhere that’s somehow snuck under our food spy radar and that you think would be perfect for Forman & Field? Let us know!
Or have we knocked your socks off with one of our monthly specials this year and you’d like to order it all year round? We’re all ears!
Our shopping list will be complete within the next couple of weeks so do leave a comment below with any suggestions you may have. We really appreciate your help. Thank you.

My own favourite is the keta caviar – just love those wicked little orange beads!

Thank you for the recent past catalogues that you have sent me, sorry that I have not made a purchase yet. I did notice that you do game, which is what I love to cook over the xmas period for myself and husband. We feel that buying a big chicken or even a chicken or turkey breast is too big. One thing we love is venison, and pheasant but it is a long time since we had grouse. Hope that you will get this year. How about also doing a two person xmas dinner menu or hamper pack

Great food, and looking forward to next catalogue. We did manage to find capon this last Christmas, which is hard to get but delicious when tracked down. Any chance of you getting some when the season is right?

We thoroughly enjoyed all your Summer Hampers. So how about Winter INDOOR Hampers for 2 or 4 (maybe 6) persons? Also, it would be nice to be able to add Pimm’s with fresh fruit to any order. And, the previously suggested 2 person Christmas dinner would be brilliant!

Thank you all for your kind comments.
Michele, Keta’s a lovely product and will certainly be staying the catalogue. Makes a fancy topping for a smoked salmon canape we think.
June, we’ll have grouse in our September Specials, towards the end of August. If you’d like us to order some in for you specially before then just give the office a call on 0208 5252 352 and we’ll get them for you – any time after the glorious twelfth!
Antonia, we’d love to feature English capon in the catalogue. Our 3Kg free range chickens are great but a capon would be a very welcome addition. If you have a recommendation do please feel free to email us at info@formanandfield.com and we’ll speak to the producer.
Norman, thank you so much for your comment and really pleased to hear you are enjoying the food! I’ll speak to Chef about introducing the special lines you’ve enjoyed this year and have no fear, the others are going nowhere!

I would love to be able to get dinner party quantities of exotic/unusual fresh vegetables in season such as ceps, crosnes, baby globe artechokes. samphire etc. Especially at Christmas & New Year. I know they are perishable so you could not keep lots of stock but I would be happy to order in advance.
